Until recently, buckwheat was considered only a cereal crop. Therefore, it was not cultivated in household plots, and only strips were sown to cultivate the soil and attract pollinating insects. But it turns out that not only buckwheat grain, but also all parts of the plant have useful and healing properties.

Sowing buckwheat in Russia is traditionally cultivated for the production of cereals and products from it (noodles, cooked breakfast cereals, cereal, buckwheat flour). Its grain due to the balanced content of proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, B vitamins has dietary properties.

But buckwheat is most valued for its high content of rutin (vitamin P), which reduces the permeability of blood vessels and promotes the accumulation of vitamin C in the body, enhances its effect, and has a beneficial effect on the activity of the thyroid gland. In addition, it plays an important role in modern therapy, especially in connection with the use of chemotherapeutic drugs, the growth of toxic-allergic diseases, environmental degradation, and weakened immunity.

The leaves, young shoots, seedlings and flowers of buckwheat are also rich in routine. From them you can make vitamin tea, salads, powder, which is added to soups and seasonings.
