Hibiscus-Chinese rose is decorated with beautiful simple or double flowers in diameter from 10 to 13 cm. In the center of the flower is a column consisting of fused stamens. Chinese rose flowers can be red, pink, orange, yellow or white. The variety of cooperi has red flowers, and the leaves are variegated. Hibiscus blooms, usually in the summer. Flowers are not durable, but new ones are constantly formed. Under favorable growth conditions, the bush of a Chinese rose reaches a height of one and a half meters. The size of the plant growing in the room is half as much.

In winter, the air temperature for the plant should not be below thirteen degrees of heat. Humidity is average, hibiscus needs to be sprayed occasionally. Lighting a Chinese rose loves intense, but not direct summer light, especially falling on it through glass windows. In spring, summer and autumn, the plant requires abundant watering, in contrast to the winter period. Do not allow the roots to dry out. Top dressing is done in the summer.

When blooming a Chinese rose, it is necessary to constantly remove old withered flowers. In the last months of winter or after its flowering, long shoots of hibiscus are shortened. It is not recommended to move and rotate the plant when it forms flower buds, this leads to their decline. A Chinese rose is transplanted in spring. In summer, it can grow outdoors, but only in a place protected from wind and rain. Reproduction occurs by seeds and cuttings.
